2016 Annual Meeting Minutes

Minutes for the RMD meeting held Saturday November the 5th at BJ’s Brewhouse in Colorado Springs ,CO

In attendance: Ed Jarosak,Steve Jarosak, Brian DeLaPlaine,Pat Green, Jerry Geiger,Al Jennifer and Joseph Rodi,Dave& Susan Johnson,Richard Reiff, Pat duffy, Jim Stone, Doug&Ginni Davlin,Doug Summer,John and Donna Spiro

Meeting called to order by president Doug Summer at 1:18pm. Last years minutes read by John Spiro.

Financial report given by John Spiro. The balance at the beginning of 2016 was $8668.00 . The balance as of Nov 5th is $10,030.00.

Election of officers. Pat Green volunteered to be president as Doug Summer is stepping down. Everyone voted yes to accept Pat Green as president. John Spiro volunteered to stay secretary/treasurer for another term.

Old Business:

More checks are needed by the club and John asked if it was okay to change the club address to the current secretary/ treasurers(John Spiro’s home address) and it was agreed upon by everyone.

Richard Reiff brought up having the motor car inspections put back on the Ec’s responsibilities. John agreed to contact the Board of Directors at Narcoa to get input.

John says we are out of hats, everyone agreed we should order more, John will handle.

New Business:

Richard Reiff talked about his run for the SLV,Alamosa,La Veta trip possibly early June but he is waiting on word from MOW on their southern swing trip plus Richard will coordinate with Jerry;s Leadville trip.

Discussion about Great western Line and Towner, owned by A&K, someone is trying to buy? Richard Reiff is in contact with someone to get more info.

John talked about Watco contact for Kansas line from Scott City to Towner.

Richard Reiff Says Mow meeting was to be Nov 6th, so he may have more info regarding MOWs June runs in December or January.

Al Rodi brought up the Greeley museum,maybe we could do a show and tell with the speeders as they have a small amount of track to run.

Doug Davlin motioned to adjourn meeting at 1:50pm
